The Medical Clinic is one of the largest and most versatile clinics in Region Kronoberg. Here we offer both outpatient and inpatient specialized care in internal medicine, as well as other internal medicine specialties such as neurology, rheumatology, and allergology. Our ambition is to continuously improve and develop our operations to create the best possible conditions for the future. In our department, we care for patients with strokes and various neurological diseases, such as Parkinson's, epilepsy, MS, ALS, brain tumors, and Guillain-Barré. You will work in a multidisciplinary team where collaboration is key to providing good and safe care.

We have one of our colleagues going on parental leave and are therefore looking for someone who wants to work nights with us during that period. We anticipate that the temporary position will last throughout 2026.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be responsible for nursing tasks, medical duties, and contributing to the rehabilitation process together with other professional groups. A special part of our department is the emergency room where we receive brain alert calls. Here you will be involved in emergency interventions, including thrombolysis treatment, which provides a varied and educational work experience. For those who wish to develop, we offer stroke competence training and opportunities for further education in neurology.

When you start with us, we ensure that you receive an introduction tailored to your previous experiences and knowledge so that you gain the confidence you need to settle into your work effectively. If you are newly employed within Region Kronoberg, you will also participate in several introductory training sessions that all new employees attend during their initial time with us.

QUALIFICATIONS

With great commitment, we welcome you as a licensed nurse who wants to become part of the medical clinic in Växjö. You have a genuine interest in providing good care and actively work to ensure that the patient's needs are at the center. Previous experience in stroke or neurology care is advantageous, but not a requirement.

We are looking for someone with good collaboration skills who enjoys working closely with various professional groups, both within the department and together with other units and clinics. You have a solution-oriented approach, contribute to a positive work environment, and are confident in taking responsibility. With us, you need to handle a varying work pace and feel comfortable making independent decisions when the situation requires it.

We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
